Ani_Jam Code of Conduct

Introduction: Pixel Blue College is committed to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful environment for all Ani_Jam participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behaviour for everyone involved, ensuring a positive experience for all.

1. Respect and Inclusivity:

  • Treat all participants with kindness, respect, and professionalism.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or prejudiced behaviour based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.

  • Be open to diverse ideas, perspectives, and creative styles.

2. Professionalism and Collaboration:

  • Maintain a positive and constructive attitude in all interactions.

  • Disagreements should be handled respectfully, focusing on solutions rather than personal attacks.

  • Work collaboratively, valuing each team member’s contributions.

3. Responsible Communication:

  • Engage in clear, respectful, and constructive discussions.

  • Avoid offensive language, derogatory remarks, or personal attacks.

  • Be mindful of tone and intent, both in person and online.

4. Personal Boundaries and Consent:

  • Respect personal space and the boundaries of others.

  • Do not touch or invade another participant’s space without their clear consent.

  • Do not pressure anyone into creative decisions or unwanted interactions.

5. Digital and Online Etiquette:

  • Treat online communications with the same respect as in-person interactions.

  • Do not engage in cyberbullying, harassment, or the unauthorized sharing of private information.

  • Credit all contributions fairly and accurately.

6. Creative Integrity:

  • Honour intellectual property and do not claim others’ work as your own.

  • Be transparent about sources and inspirations.

  • Plagiarism, cheating, or misrepresentation of work is strictly prohibited.

7. Substance Use:

  • Follow all applicable laws and event policies regarding alcohol and substances.

  • Do not participate while under the influence in a way that disrupts the event or endangers others.

8. Safety and Security:

  • Behaviours that threaten the safety of others, including violence, intimidation, or reckless actions, will not be tolerated.

  • Follow any event-specific safety guidelines and protocols.

9. Event Space Respect:

  • Treat the event space and all provided equipment with care.

  • Clean up after yourself and respect shared spaces.

  • Follow all venue-specific rules and guidelines.

10. Consequences of Violations:

  • Any behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the event and/or future participation restrictions.

  • Organizers have the right to address concerns and take necessary actions to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
